You might be wondering who reads weird science? Well, anyone can read it but it's mostly aimed at kids and teens in middle or high-school. So, if you fall somewhere into the 10 to 16-year-old range, the style of this blog might just be for you.
A Spotlessly Clean Zone
Spotlessly clean from advertising, that is!
This non-profit website is committed to providing an advertising-free zone for kids, teens, educators and anyone else who wants to learn about science. So, please don't make contact to ask if you can negotiate advertising here.
No-way, no-how, nope!
Parents And School Teachers
Hopefully, parents and school teachers will find this blog to be a fun and interesting tool for sharing science. In fact, it might even spark some ideas for further reading on a subject.
Understanding Weird Science
I've added in a category that will help you figure out how much brain power you need to understand a blog post. I always try to give as much background as I can on a subject, but there are definitely some complicated ones. Others will be a breeze to read!
Pick one of the options below from the Brain Power category. You can start out with an easier one and work your way up by reading the more challenging blog entries.
A lot will depend on your age and how much science stuff you've already got buried into a corner in your brain. Some days, I'm baffled myself from the complex explanations in journal articles!
As always, if you have any questions, you can ask them by emailing through the weird science contact form.
